About this range
Parts for Cummins engines in generating sets rather than in vehicles. The engine underneath is the same family, but a genset runs at a fixed speed against a changing electrical load, and the parts that surround it differ: instrument senders, hour meters, tacho drives, starting equipment and the fittings that tie the engine to the alternator and the panel.
A genset also carries its own numbers. The engine has a serial number and a CPL, and the set has a rating in kVA and a model of its own. Send both if you have them, because the same engine appears under more than one set rating.
