Level switches for coolant and fuel tanks. Tell us the tank it sits in and what the switch is wired into.

What to send us

The number stamped on the old part is the quickest route. If it has worn off, the engine or genset model and serial number usually gets us there. Photos help more than descriptions.

We cross-check whatever you send against the OEM catalogue and confirm the match with you before anything ships.

About this range

Level switches watch fuel and coolant and give a simple contact when the level passes a point. In a day tank they start and stop a transfer pump or raise a low fuel alarm. In a cooling system they trigger a warning or a shutdown.

The usual types are float, reed and conductive. Floats are tolerant of dirty fuel but have moving parts that eventually stick. Conductive probes have nothing to move but foul in coolant and will not work in clean diesel, which does not conduct. Picking the wrong type for the fluid is the common mistake.

Tell us the fluid, the mounting, whether it is top or side entry, and whether the contact should make or break as the level falls.
