About this range
Kirloskar engines run through the R series, the KV series and the larger industrial blocks, with the KV6, KV8, KV10 and KV12 built on Doosan designs. Parts are ordered against the Kirloskar number, which is written in the 3H, 4H or 65 style depending on which part of the range it belongs to.
The R series engines use wet liners, which is why an overhaul on them is a liner change rather than a rebore. LPR kits for the KV engines come as liner, piston and rings together.
Send the engine model and the number off the old part. Where the Kirloskar number has worn away, the Doosan equivalent will usually cross over, and we can work from either.
