Engine Spares

Cummins engine spares

The parts that go inside or bolt onto the engine itself. Send the engine model along with the number stamped on the part you're replacing.

What to send us

The number stamped on the old part is the quickest route. If it has worn off, the engine or genset model and serial number usually gets us there. Photos help more than descriptions.

We cross-check whatever you send against the OEM catalogue and confirm the match with you before anything ships.

About this range

Cummins built the B, C, K, N, L, QSB, QSK and X families over forty years, and a part that bolts onto one will not always bolt onto the next. The 6BT is a 5.9 litre B series with a parent bore block. The 6CT is an 8.3 litre C series on wet sleeves. They look alike across a workshop, they share almost nothing, and that is the single most common reason a buyer ends up with the wrong part in a box.

The number stamped or cast onto the old part is the shortest route to the right replacement. Where it has worn away, the engine dataplate gives the model, the serial number and the CPL, and the CPL is what separates two engines of the same model built to different specifications.

We cover the engine itself here: heads, pistons, valves, bearings, pumps, coolers and the gaskets that go with them. Genset-specific parts sit under Cummins generator parts, and control electronics under the genset controllers range.
