Pressure sensor

Oil and fuel pressure sensors and senders. Send the sensor's number and tell us which gauge or controller it feeds, since the output has to match what's reading it.

What to send us

The number stamped on the old part is the quickest route. If it has worn off, the engine or genset model and serial number usually gets us there. Photos help more than descriptions.

We cross-check whatever you send against the OEM catalogue and confirm the match with you before anything ships.

About this range

Two different devices share the name, and the difference decides which one you need. A pressure switch is an on or off device: it holds a contact open until pressure falls past a threshold, then closes it and lights a lamp or trips a shutdown. A sender is analogue: its resistance changes with pressure, so a gauge or a controller can read the actual figure.

Swapping one for the other does not work. A switch fitted where a sender belongs leaves a gauge reading nothing or pinned, and a sender fitted where a switch belongs never trips the protection it was there to provide.

Order by thread size, the pressure range, and whether it is a switch or a sender. If it is a switch, the trip pressure matters too. The number on the hex or the body is the safest thing to send.
