Engine Spares

Engine hose

Charge air cooler hoses, hump hoses, radiator hoses and flexible pipe. Send the number off the old hose, or the engine model and where the hose sits.

What to send us

The number stamped on the old part is the quickest route. If it has worn off, the engine or genset model and serial number usually gets us there. Photos help more than descriptions.

We cross-check whatever you send against the OEM catalogue and confirm the match with you before anything ships.

About this range

Two jobs, two very different hoses. Charge air cooler hoses carry hot compressed air between the turbocharger, the cooler and the inlet, and they see pressure and heat. Radiator and heater hoses carry coolant, and see heat without much pressure.

A charge air hose that has split or blown off its clamp costs power and boost immediately, and often shows itself as a whistle or a sooty mark at the joint. Coolant hoses go the other way and fail slowly, going hard and glassy or soft and swollen, usually at the ends where they sit on the stubs.

Send the number off the old hose if it carries one. Otherwise the engine model and where the hose sits will get us there, and a photograph with a tape measure beside it settles the bore and the length.
